In the Penza shelter every day new animals from the street appear, and many of them with severe wounds. On the streets, dogs are often exposed to danger: they contract serious diseases, suffer from burns, cuts and auto injuries. Each wound requires special attention and competent treatment, because without proper care, the injury can lead to infection and a long, painful healing process.
For effective treatment, shelter veterinarians use special dressings to help the animal. These are specialized non-woven adhesive dressings that are ideal for fixing to different parts of the body without causing abdominal discomfort; dressings with a sorbent pad allow for monitoring secretions from wounds, keeping them clean and preventing infections from developing.
Dressings with trypsin - accelerate healing and tissue repair and create a barrier against external contaminants.
It is these dressings that are vital to the shelter's tail patients. Unfortunately, the cost of so many bandages is high, and the shelter needs your support to keep the treatment and recovery going.
