Every day the Penza shelter becomes the last hope for street strays who know well what hunger, cold, pain and suffering are. The stories of their past are different, but more often than not there is a place for cruelty and early human kindness. Among such animals was a big dog Volchok, who was hobbled and abandoned at the edge of the forest. He lay there for a long time until he was found by mushroomers, having lost three limbs at once. The wounds on his legs took a long time to heal and were painful, but thanks to care and special means, Volchok was cured, prosthetics were installed and now he can run through fields and streets at the speed of light!
Another ward of the shelter, Driss the cat, was hit by a car in a small village, where he crawled for a long time on the gravel road in search of help and food. His paws were injured and only bactericidal bandages and silver ion hydrogel helped him to recover. Driss is now in a wheelchair and enjoys walking in his own home!
Unfortunately, there are many such stories. Animals are exposed to many dangers on the streets, and they arrive at the shelter with great hope in their eyes and heart. You and I have an opportunity to help them, to ease their suffering and give them a chance for a new, happy life. Today we really need your support to purchase medicines for healing wounds!
