Muslima has retinopathy, an eye disease that often occurs in premature babies.
She was born very prematurely, very tiny, weighing less than a kilogram. The newborn girl was nursed in intensive care with a ventilator. Only two weeks later Muslima began to breathe on her own. Then the baby was transferred to the neonatal pathology department, where she spent about three months.
Retinopathy was diagnosed during an examination when our beauty was already 6 months old. In order to preserve her eyes and vision, Muslima had to undergo four operations on each eye over the three years of her life.
Now the girl is preparing for a new hospitalization and two operations. Surgical treatment is scheduled for early December at the St. Petersburg Regional State Budgetary Healthcare Institution Children's Clinical Hospital.
Muslima is a citizen of Uzbekistan. Medical care in Russia is paid for her. The family needs tickets from Tashkent to St. Petersburg and back.
Let's take care of the health of little Muslima's eyes and buy tickets so that the girl can receive the necessary treatment.
