When Alexey was 14, doctors discovered a rare congenital vascular pathology. With this disease, there is no normal network of capillaries between the arteries and veins, which is why the brain does not receive enough oxygen and nutrients. The first hemorrhage happened when Alexey was studying at the university. It was a real shock: respiratory arrest, emergency hospitalization, resuscitation. Months of rehabilitation therapy brought him back to life. This was followed by three more hemorrhages. Despite everything, Alexey remains a cheerful person. He draws, watches documentaries about fishing, visits exhibitions and dreams of returning to an active life. He is supported by his cat Masya, who literally does not leave her owner's side, inspiring him to new victories.
