Ratmir has started treatment in the oncology department!

Ratmir is 13 years old, a sociable and positive boy. He likes computer games, studies well and wants to become a policeman. He smiles and jokes despite his poor health. Ratmir says he dreams only of getting well. In March this year, the boy began to have severe headaches and nausea. During the examination, doctors discovered a brain tumor. This diagnosis came as a great shock to the boy and his family. Ratmir underwent surgery, two courses of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, but, unfortunately, this did not stop the growth of the tumor. After reviewing the histologic blocks in Moscow, it was discovered that the initial diagnosis was incorrect, and a lot of precious time was lost. It became clear why the treatment was not working. As soon as the correct diagnosis was made the boy's father together with his son went to Moscow for treatment. Now Ratmir needs a course of chemotherapy. Ratmir's parents are unable to pay for their son's treatment. They need our help very much!
