Fatimat is a six-year-old girl who has struggled with serious medical problems since the age of three. Diagnoses include infantile autism, delayed psycho-verbal development, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and problems with physiological control. Despite her difficulties, Fatimat tries to live life to the fullest, although her sleep remains restless and socialising with other children is difficult.
The family consists of nine people and financial resources are limited. Nevertheless, the parents are doing their best to treat their daughter, visiting massage therapists, swimming and osteopaths. However, for further progress Fatimat needs a specialised rehabilitation course. This course includes physical therapy classes, work with a speech therapist (including speech massage), as well as sessions with a psychologist and a massage therapist. All this is aimed at improving the girl's condition, developing her communication skills and strengthening her physical health.
