Baby Nushofarin was born with a severe heart defect. She needs surgery to correct a heart defect.
The parents learnt about her heart condition soon after the birth of their daughter. The heart murmur turned out to be a symptom of a serious pathology: narrowing of the lumen of the aorta, the main vessel in the human body, and other congenital heart anomalies. Doctors immediately warned that only surgery could help. But there is no possibility to perform it at home in Tajikistan, there are no experienced specialists and the necessary equipment.
For the parents, the joy of the birth of their first child was replaced by despair. The little girl is growing weak, lethargic and has no appetite at all. The girl is lagging behind in development. In her 4 months she does not know how to turn over, is not interested in toys. Only when mum or dad take her in their arms, she smiles happily. It's the only thing she's strong enough to smile at. Dyspnoea has appeared, little Nushofarin is short of air.
To save her daughter, her mother brought her to Moscow, hoping for the experience of Russian doctors.
The operation is ready to be performed by cardiac surgeons of the A.N. Bakulev National Medical Centre for Cardiovascular Surgery. A.N. Bakulev. But the cost of the vital operation is too high for the girl's parents.
