Thanks to you, friends, Rita received the aqua cases and tried them out. These cases are designed to protect the girl's hearing aids from moisture and water. With the aqua cases, Rita can go to the pool, take a bath and walk in the rain. Rita's life has become more comfortable and safe.

Although Rita is only five years old, but she clearly knows that implants cannot get wet, they must be protected from water. Previously, the girl's mother used to remove the implants to wash, making sure that they did not get wet in the rain or on vacation at the river. Pools and water parks were off-limits without them. Any water activities for Rita were held in complete silence, because of this the girl was constantly anxious and worried. But thanks to your support, friends, Rita's life has changed for the better.

The other day the family went to a water park. The aqua covers will have to work for several hours in a large water area and protect Rita's auditory implants from water splashes, moisture and humidity. Also thanks to the covers, now the girl is not afraid of sound isolation. The covers allow her to hear sounds on land and underwater.

Five-year-old Margarita hears with the help of two cochlear implants. But there are situations when the implant processors have to be removed and the girl finds herself back in a sound vacuum. Aquacases - special protective cases for implants - would help to hear always and everywhere.

Rita received her first cochlear implant when she was 2.5 years old, and the second one a little over a year ago. With these magic phones Rita could hear her mother's voice, the laughter of children on the playground, the rumble of passing cars, and the pounding of rain on the roof. With them the child's active speech development began. To keep it going, Rita needs to hear all the time. That's in an ideal world. But in the real world - the devices are afraid of water, going with them to the pool and the river, and even just get caught in the rain - you can not. The slightest splash will knock them out of action. So bathing - in the bathtub, on the river or in the pool - is done in complete silence. Olesya sees the anxiety in her daughter's eyes in these moments. Rita looks for her mother, checking if everything is all right. And waits for the “ears” to “turn on” again.
