Anelle turned 7 years old, she has a delay in mental and speech development. After the age of 2, the mother sounded the alarm, the girl did not understand the addressed speech, did not speak and did not contact other children. From that moment on, Anel attends various classes.
During this rehabilitation course, Anel underwent hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions, classes with a sensory integration specialist and an adaptive physical education coach.
Thanks to the lessons she completed, the girl's coordination and sense of her own body in space, large and fine motor skills improved. Now Anel confidently walks on a treadmill, trains on an exercise bike, performs exercises with dumbbells on her own, throws balls at a target and even rides a scooter.
Also, as part of this rehabilitation, the girl underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This procedure helps to increase the functional reserves of the body and brain in children with intellectual disabilities. Nervous and muscular tissue is saturated with oxygen and is better supplied with blood. This course had a beneficial effect on both Anel's physical and psycho-emotional state.
