At the age of one year Islam started to show signs indicating developmental problems. His mum noticed a lack of reaction to his name, lack of interest in others, as well as manipulation with toys (twisting, putting them on top of each other). At the age of 3 he was diagnosed with infantile autism. Islam underwent rehabilitation courses in Makhachkala and three times in Astrakhan. Fortunately, he has shown some improvement: he has started to talk, understand speech and answer questions. Islam shows interest in singing, dancing, drawing and recognises the names of TV channels. However, the lack of constant rehabilitation leads to regression: the child forgets the learnt material. Mum wants Islam to become more independent, learn to read, write and be more diligent. Unfortunately, mum has devoted herself entirely to caring for the child, and dad, as the only breadwinner in a family with two other children, cannot provide constant payment for rehabilitation courses. Let's join forces and help Islam on his road to recovery! He deserves the opportunity to undergo a full course of rehabilitation to further his development. Every contribution you make is important!
