Ksyusha and her little brother were taken to the hospital to our nanny right on New Year's Eve. We don't know what happened, but the children were very scared and cried constantly: the hospital, the noise of fireworks, the fear of the unknown. The nanny did everything possible to make the children start smiling again: in the morning, they were greeted with a gift and the nanny's smile. After a couple of days, the children were already playing and hardly cried at all.
Every month, children whose parents cannot care for them are admitted to hospitals in Moscow. These are little ones who have been removed due to neglect or abuse, children found on the streets, babies whose parents are also undergoing treatment, and orphans.
They require treatment, often long-term, and without the support of an adult, the little ones cannot cope. The foundation’s nannies come to help — they stay with the children 24 hours a day, feeding them, bathing them, and telling them fairy tales.
Help us pay for the nannies' work so that children in hospitals are not left alone!
