Bogdan has completed an intensive rehabilitation course!

Bogdan is 5 years old. By the age of 2, the boy did not look into the eyes, did not respond to the name. After numerous examinations, a diagnosis was made – delayed psychorechological development by the type of sensorimotor alalia. During the course, the behavioral analyst worked on the skills of "listener behavior" and "speech comprehension", on forming requests using the PECS alternative communication system, and on phrase expansion. With a speech therapist, Bogdan learned to pronounce sounds and syllables loudly and clearly, and to put them into words correctly. After taking classes in adaptive physical education and sensory integration, Bogdan's coordination of movements and attention improved. As necessary, physical activity was gradually dosed and regulated. The boy's self-control improved, and he also gained control over his motor actions. The child learned to understand and follow the instructions of specialists, mastered running, jumping, crawling, and learned to ride a scooter and bicycle. Also, as part of an intensive rehabilitation course, Bogdan underwent hardware treatment, including a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and a course of bioacoustic correction of the brain, which had a positive effect on both intellectual development and the development of the boy.
