You gave women support during the most vulnerable time in their lives

Help pregnant women whose babies are diagnosed with developmental defects and who come to Moscow for life-saving medical care. Lyudmila Dudarova from Ingushetia joined the “Home for the Baby” project while expecting her fourth child. Her baby was diagnosed with developmental defects, requiring urgent medical treatment after birth. Following delivery, the baby suffered from pneumonia and struggled to adapt to breastfeeding. Lyudmila herself faced severe health risks, including preeclampsia, diabetes, and high-risk thrombophilia. For two months, the project’s social coordinator supported Lyudmila and four other pregnant women 24/7. The coordinator helped with settling into housing, finding medications, discharge from the hospital, arranging transportation, and addressing daily challenges. Visiting Lyudmila several times a week, the coordinator provided not only practical assistance but also vital emotional support, especially when the baby fell ill with pneumonia. The work of a social coordinator is an invaluable lifeline for families in crisis. With your support, more families can receive the care and assistance they need during this difficult time.
