Azalea returned from hearing and speech rehabilitation

Thanks to you, Azalea has been rehabilitated at the center where they work with children after cochlear implantation. Thank you for helping the speech development of the baby, who has been deaf since birth. Five—year-old Azalea started hearing speech and sounds only a year and a half ago, after the installation of cochlear implants. Such children need to constantly and intensively engage with specialists in order to deliver clear and correct speech. Mom took Azalea to classes with a speech therapist in her hometown and it helped a little in speech development. But for a more effective auditory perception of surrounding sounds, the development of oral speech and communication skills required the simultaneous complex work of a speech pathologist, a sign language therapist, a psychologist and other specialists. It was this intensive course that helped the girl make a significant breakthrough in rehabilitation. "The classes were aimed at developing thinking, logic, and grammar. My daughter began to speak more and more clearly, and the usual tightness and shyness disappeared. Two weeks flew by like two days: Azalea didn't even want to leave the center. I filmed a lot of things so that I could practice my speech and other skills properly at home. Thank you all very much for supporting the collection! The specialists of the rehabilitation center gave recommendations and exercises to her mother, and now Azalea will consolidate the acquired skills at home and in lessons with a speech therapist.
