One-year-old Murtazo has been in the intensive care unit of the Samara hospital for three months. He breathes with the help of a ventilator. It is important to continue treatment, but the family has no funds. Since birth, little Murtazo has had a cough. Local doctors could not understand what was happening to the boy, his lungs and intestines were filled with sputum. The doctors could not help, the boy was getting weaker and weaker before their eyes. Then the parents urgently flew to Russia with their little son in their arms. Only here they were able to make an accurate diagnosis: Murtazo has a rare genetic disease - cystic fibrosis. Viscous, glue-like sputum does not allow to breathe, digest food and fills the whole organism. There is no cure for the disease, but you can live with it by taking the necessary medication. Murtazo will be able to grow up, go to kindergarten and school, just like his two older brothers. Only now he needs the help of doctors, who will help to free the child's body from accumulated mucus.
