Three-year-old Ramil faced a terrible disease that not every adult can cope with: the boy had bilateral retinoblastoma, that is, eye cancer.
Treatment of his left eye was unsuccessful, and doctors had to remove it. To save his right eye, Ramil underwent six courses of chemotherapy in his native Dushanbe, and then the family came to Moscow, to the Helmholtz Institute of Eye Diseases.
Now Ramil needs further treatment at the Blokhin Oncology Clinic. Delay threatens the loss of his second eye.
The boy's parents cannot pay for the treatment, as all resources were spent on the previous courses of chemotherapy, moving and accommodation. Ramil's father works, but barely makes ends meet. There is no way to raise the necessary amount of money for his son.
The boy needs help and support from people who care. The illness has changed the boy. He is fretful when he sees doctors, and his mother calms him down by showing him his favorite Spider-Man cartoon.
The parents hope that kind people will help to tear Ramil out of the clutches of the insidious disease and save his eyesight.
Let's help the baby undergo treatment, and Ramil will have hope to beat the tumor and save his eye!
