Mahdi was born with aplasia of the left hand: the hand and forearm up to the upper third are missing.
Now the boy is four. He is active, inquisitive, persistent. The boy learned to eat, play and help his mother around the house - with one hand! He sweeps the floor, folds things, collects mosaics and constructors, loves to fix cars. But with one hand, such seemingly simple things turn into a real test!
Mahdi really needs a prosthesis to overcome many difficulties!
The boy dreams of climbing horizontal bars, pulling himself up and riding a bicycle, but the lack of an arm prevents him. In addition, the parents are afraid that due to the uneven load, over time he will start having problems with his back, a curvature of the spine (scoliosis).
Tie shoelaces, fasten a jacket, open a bottle - Mahdi is given with difficulty. While he is small, parents help, but with age, independence will become vital.
Most of all, parents worry about his psychological state. When Mahdi went to kindergarten, he began to notice that he was different from other children. They questioned him, some teased him, so the boy withdrew into himself and refused to go to kindergarten.
An active forearm prosthesis will allow Mahdi to become more independent, protect against scoliosis and restore self-confidence.
Let's fulfill Mahdi's dream together!
