Every morning Danya counts and reviews his personal fleet of mini-cars. Model cars have been Daniel's main hobby for several years now. By the age of six, the boy knows all the world's car brands, how the car industry works and, it seems, could become a car expert or maybe a doctor. The other day Danya declared that he wants to be a doctor and help people, just like doctors help him now.
Daniil is the youngest child in the Ukolov family, which lives in the village of Dinskaya in Krasnodar Krai. After their daughter Anastasia, his parents dreamed of having a son, and he came into the world, though not like many other children. Even in the womb it became clear - the child had a serious problem with the development of the body - an ultrasound scan determined that the child has a cleft spine (spina bifida). Parents had no choice but to wait and prepare themselves for the hard road.
After delivery resuscitation, surgeries and only 3 months later discharge from the hospital. During his 6 years of life Daniel underwent 8 very difficult surgeries, but he survived and even learned to enjoy life at such a young age. Daniel has been attending a special kindergarten group for 2 years and is enthusiastically engaged with the teachers. The quick-witted boy is learning everything new quickly, but he just cannot move actively either.
At home, he moves around on his feet on the floor, and in public places, in a wheelchair. Daniil will never stand on his feet independently - there is no support in them, and in order to live and develop properly, he needs to be upright every day: the load is correctly distributed on the spine, on the hip joints, all internal organs - heart, lungs, digestive system, blood circulation - all start to function properly. This is impossible without a special verticalizer.
Daniil's parents try their best to create conditions for their special child, but they are desperately short of money. The head of the family is unemployed, his mother dedicates herself to taking care of her son and does not even dream of official employment. The four Ukolovs have been living for half a year already on 25 thousand roubles a month on their son's disability pension. They are not giving up and hope that kind people will help them to support Daniil and give him a so much needed standing aid.
Let's help this boy to develop properly!
