Khalid is 7 years old. By the age of 1.5, the boy had a developmental setback, he stopped saying new words, his understanding deteriorated, and eye contact disappeared. After consulting a neurologist, Khalid was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.
After the lessons, Khalid began to cooperate better, and the number of manifestations of undesirable behavior decreased. The child learned to independently follow simple instructions with and without objects, sort objects, and distinguish between primary colors. The understanding of converted speech has also improved.
With a sensory integration specialist and an adaptive physical education instructor, Khalid learned how to keep his balance, throw and catch a ball, throw it at a target, jump, ride a scooter and a gyro scooter.
Also, as part of this course, the child underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The use of hardware procedures during the intensive rehabilitation course certainly gave an impetus to the improvement of the boy's cognitive, speech and mental functions.
