Tagir is 15 years old. The parents noticed the first changes in behavior after a year. By the age of 1.5, the boy began to shout often, line up toys in a row, stopped speaking (by the year the vocabulary consisted of 10 words), lost understanding of the addressed speech, did not respond to the name.
Within the framework of this course, work continued on the use of the PECS alternative communication system. The boy is now able to lay out the phrase "I want ..." from special cards, pronouncing the most motivational encouragement. Tagir became more attentive, began to compare more cards in shape and color, and to find associative connections. Teachers also continued to work on developing the global reading skill.
Tagir performed exercises with a sensory integration specialist using tools such as a tactile bag, a hammock, and a tunnel. There were also classes on the development of logic and thinking. With an adaptive physical education coach, Tagir improved his physical skills, became much stronger and more resilient. He worked out on a treadmill, went through an obstacle course, worked out with dumbbells and much more.
Tagir also underwent a Tomatis hardware correction course and a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy during his rehabilitation. The use of hardware procedures has had a beneficial effect on the development and understanding of speech, as well as on the development of cognitive functions of the brain.
