We thank you for the funds you have raised for Narmina's rehabilitation! Unfortunately, due to family circumstances, the girl was unable to attend a rehabilitation course in Astrakhan. Your help was sent to Said, who has autism. He is 7 years old and does not interact with other children. An ABA specialist was working on two-component motor imitation and speech comprehension. The specialists worked on the boy's independence skills, visual perception, and graphomotor skills. Said learned to wait his turn, improved his understanding of spoken speech, and onomatopoeia and first words appeared. During sensory integration classes, the boy's sense of his own body in space improved, and he began to adapt faster to the environment and people. With an adaptive physical education coach, the child performed various exercises using a hoop, ball, dumbbells, and worked out on a treadmill. Said learned to pedal on his own and even ride a scooter. Also, as part of this course, Said underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and bioacoustic correction of the brain. The use of hardware procedures during the intensive rehabilitation course certainly gave an impetus to the improvement of cognitive, speech and mental functions of the child.
