Said has early childhood autism. By the age of 6 months, there was no nutritional interest and no emotional reaction to others, and the boy hardly smiled.
As part of the rehabilitation course, work was carried out on the use of the PECS alternative communication system, Said learned how to lay out the phrase "I want ..." from cards, specialists used the most motivational incentives. The boy began to examine the sets of cards more closely, comparing them in shape and color, and finding associative connections. We also worked with the child to develop self-service skills.
Thanks to his studies, Said began to understand the spoken language better, and he developed onomatopoeia. In the classroom, the boy was taught to pronounce vowel sounds. With an adaptive physical education coach and a sensory integration specialist, Said has successfully mastered the jumping skill and shows excellent results in catching and throwing balls. The boy has learned to ride a bicycle, he can ride several meters without the help of an adult. The child's sense of balance has improved, and there are positive dynamics in the development of large and small motor skills.
