Saniyat and Asiyat have completed a rehabilitation course!

Saniyat and Asiyat are wards of the Butterfly Children Foundation. They share a common diagnosis – epidermolysis bullosa (EB). This is a serious genetic disease that disrupts the connection of the skin layers: any touch provokes the appearance of blisters, similar to burns. Children with EB need many hours of daily bandages with medical devices that protect against damage and facilitate wound healing. They also need special rehabilitation, which is carried out for such children at the Polyany children's sanatorium near Moscow. The children are accompanied by adults and receive the help of a wide range of medical specialists. During the course, the students undergo a set of procedures aimed at stabilizing the skin condition and improving immunity in general. Each child is assigned a pediatrician who oversees his rehabilitation during his stay. Rehabilitation therapy, balanced nutrition, fresh air and communication with other "butterflies" will help the girls gain strength and live a full life!
