You helped children become eco-heroes

Let's start the school year eco-friendly! In September 2025, eco-speakers from «No More Garbage» conducted nine eco-lessons for 140 schoolchildren in St. Petersburg. During the lessons, the eco-speakers immersed the children in the world of cosmic superheroes and introduced them to famous characters from an environmental perspective. Boys and girls sorted the heroes into five categories: transportation, clothing, gadgets, living conditions, and environmental impact. The children had to figure out which of these heroes was the most eco-friendly. At the same time, the children learned new eco-facts and learned important eco-habits for everyday life. During the lesson, the children understood what an eco-footprint is and how many planets they need to live, did a digital cleanup on their phones, learned engaging eco-facts from a quiz, and played the game «Waste Sorting». It was fun and educational! Thank you to everyone who supported the fundraising for the eco-lessons! With your support, we were able to pay for eco-speakers and print the necessary handouts for lessons. This means, together, we've provided valuable knowledge to dozens of children who are already considering an eco-friendly lifestyle. Thank you!
