Abdul-Kerim has completed his rehabilitation course!

Abdul-Kerim has a delayed speech development with an autism spectrum disorder. After a year, the boy had a developmental setback, he stopped speaking words, behavioral problems began, and his understanding of spoken speech disappeared. One of the most noticeable improvements of the baby is the formation of eye contact. Abdul-Kerim became more confident in establishing contact with others, which indicates an increase in his social activity and willingness to interact with other people. Specialists have also started using toilet training with stable positive results. After the lessons, the boy began to develop onomatopoeia, he learned to pronounce vowel sounds and several simple, monosyllabic words. Abdul-Kerim mastered the first stage of requests using PECS alternative communication cards. He learned to compare identical and non-identical objects and images, shapes and colors, and distinguish between motivational stimuli. Work has been done to improve the listener's behavior, and an index gesture has been formed. The baby became calmer, there was an understanding of the addressed speech, now Abdul-Kerim responds to his name and understands some instructions.
