Muhammad-Azim is 7 years old, he has an autism spectrum disorder, delayed speech development, emotional-volitional and behavioral disorders.
During this course, in classes with an AVA specialist, the boy learned how to sort and name new subjects by category, arrange subjects in descending and ascending order. The child's vocabulary has expanded significantly, and phrasal speech is developing. Work also continued on developing the skill of requests and expanding incentives.
With a speech therapist, Muhammad-Azim worked on the pronunciation of words consisting of several syllables, learned how to correctly apply endings and put words into phrasal constructions "adjective + noun", "verb + noun". After studying with a specialist in sensory integration and adaptive physical education, the boy learned how to balance on a balance beam without the support of a teacher, throw a ball at a target, and the child's large and fine motor skills improved.
Muhammad-Azim also completed a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy as part of this course. The use of hardware procedures during the intensive rehabilitation course certainly gave an impetus to the improvement of the boy's cognitive, speech and mental functions.
