The cheerful and lively Vika is 10 years old and disabled.
Our story is similar to many others," says her mother. "We, like all young parents, were waiting for our little miracle to be born and everything was going on...".
The birth began prematurely. A mother shares: "It was very scary and painful when your baby is born and you cannot hear his first cry.... Doctors are shouting: hurry up, prepare the intensive care unit, she is not breathing, at that moment you only think about one thing - live, live, my daughter!
Vika was born very small: 1830 grams.
A year later, she is diagnosed with infantile cerebral paralysis, a horrible diagnosis. Together with cerebral palsy she was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, spastic tetraparesis, delayed psychomotor development, and convergent strabismus!
Thanks to the class she has already learned so much. She is sitting on the floor, standing on all fours, crawling, walking with both hands, studying in the 2nd grade of comprehensive school, studying at home.
Every day girl needs massage, exercising, training, she is able to bear weight and is undergoing stress, which not every adult is able to bear.
Today the main need of the girl is ankle brace in order to stand firmly and steadily on her feet.
