Emilia was born on the 26th week of pregnancy with a weight of 470 grams. She had been in intensive care for five months, and doctors were fighting for her life. After being discharged from the intensive care unit, mom and Emily flew to St. Petersburg, where the girl underwent a full examination. As a result, she was diagnosed with multiple conditions: grade 4 cerebral palsy, mixed tetraparesis, delayed motor development, congenital heart disease, partial optic nerve atrophy, cicatricial retinopathy of prematurity in both eyes, strabismus, and severe chronic protein deficiency.
Despite all these difficulties, Emilia continues to struggle. Now she is 3 years old, and she has learned to sit and stand at the support. However, after suffering from whooping cough, there was a setback: the girl stopped talking. Emilia's mother is raising her alone and is having great difficulty paying for all the necessary rehabilitation courses.
Emilia urgently needs physical therapy, massage, speech therapist, and classes in the pool. With the help of caring people, the baby's mother hopes to raise funds for rehabilitation courses so that Emilia can learn new skills and bring closer the day when she can walk and talk on her own.
