Aina is 4 years old. After 1.5 years, the baby stopped looking into the eyes, responding to the name and reacting to people. Specialists diagnosed a delay in speech development.
Aina is an active child, at the beginning of rehabilitation she had a hard time making contact, she did not follow the instructions. The work of specialists, first of all, was aimed at filling the deficit of the muscular and tactile system. At the end of the rehabilitation, a partial adaptive response appeared. The girl learned how to ride swings calmly, climb and descend stairs, and stand on a balance beam.
During the lessons, Aina also became more diligent, she developed an interest in classes and exercises. The second stage of the alternative communication system using PECS cards was introduced to the girl. Aina has learned to perform imitation with and without objects, motor actions on demand, she has new stimuli, now there are six of them! Aina also has a positive dynamic in understanding spoken language, and eye contact has become longer and more stable.
