Aliya's Story: How Your Help Changed a Family's Life

The story of Aliya and her children could have ended in tragedy, but thanks to SOS Children's Villages, the family has a chance for a new life. Aliya is raising two daughters, Amina and Yana, but the last year has been a challenge: her husband's problems with work, the children's deteriorating health, and constant conflicts. When the situation reached its limit, Aliya filed for divorce and the relationship in the family became even more tense. One day, Aliya and her children found themselves on the street. She rented an apartment with her savings, but the funds did not last long. Fortunately, the teachers at the school where Yana studies suggested that she seek help from SOS Children's Villages. Here, the family received not only a roof over their heads, but also help from psychologists and social workers. Currently, there are 2 families with 4 children in the temporary accommodation program. In order for us to continue helping such families, we need your support.
