Ayda is a 12-year-old girl with a strong character and a great desire to live a full life. Despite a severe neurodegenerative disease - Friedreich's ataxia - she continues to fight for her health. Two years ago Ayda started attending a rehabilitation centre, and with each course her condition improves. Her mum notes that the girl is starting to walk more confidently, her body is getting stronger and her spirit is getting stronger.
But funds are needed to continue this important work. Ayda's family, which has two special children, cannot pay for the next course of rehabilitation on their own.
The rehabilitation course includes various therapies: massage, therapeutic exercise, bobat therapy, physical therapy and orthopaedic procedures. All these methods are aimed at improving Ayda's condition, strengthening her body and fighting the neurodegenerative disease.
Each session brings the girl closer to her dream of being able to move freely and enjoy her childhood. Let us together give Ayda a chance for a better future!
