Salmon is just four months old. In January this year, after routine vaccinations, his mum noticed her son's skin turning pale and his crying became quiet, as if he had no energy. The doctors' diagnosis sounded like a thunderclap - leukaemia, a malignant blood disease. The local doctors just threw up their hands: transfusions of blood components gave only a short respite, and the treatment did not work. The parents did not give up, with difficulty they found funds and brought their son to Russia to more experienced doctors. Now the baby is in Morozov hospital, undergoing a course of chemotherapy. Little Salmon has every chance to beat the disease. But the most difficult thing lies ahead: bone marrow transplantation. It is impossible for the family, which left two children back home, to pay for the treatment. The parents turned to us for help.
