Aswad is 7 years old, he has delayed speech development, childhood autism. By the age of one, the boy was not crawling or sitting, and there was no babbling.
A specialist in ava therapy was working on the skills of "listener behavior" and "guiding control". Aswad began to simulate actions and follow simple instructions. The work was carried out with identical and non-identical cards, with cards for distinguishing objects using a stimulus. The child learned to wait and work at the table. The boy developed onomatopoeia, and with a speech therapist, he learned to pronounce vowels and simple phrases correctly, loudly and clearly.
Through sensory integration and adaptive physical education classes, Aswad improved his physical skills and sensory-motor functions. The boy learned to keep his balance, and his large and small motor skills improved. The child worked out on various simulators, went through an obstacle course and even learned to pedal without the support of a trainer and ride a bike.
As part of the rehabilitation course, Aswad also completed courses in hyperbaric oxygen therapy and Tomatis therapy. After undergoing these procedures, the boy's excessive activity decreased, his psychophysiological condition returned to normal, and his communication skills improved, as well as his understanding of spoken language.
