One and a half year old Ayothon was born many months premature and spent four months in the NICU fighting for her life. At six months old, she was diagnosed with retinopathy of prematurity. After treatment in her native country, Ayothon travelled to Russia to undergo the necessary surgeries to avoid serious consequences. An experienced ophthalmic surgeon undertook organ-preserving treatment and performed surgery on the girl's left eye. The operation for foreign residents is paid for, the parents paid for it themselves. Now the child is in the clinic waiting for the second operation on the right eye.
