Lucien, a stray cat, has been in the care of volunteers since last spring. Last April in the late dark evening he was playing on a country road. A car passing by in an attempt to go round hit the wheel of the frightened kitten, he was about 5 months old at the time. Because of the trauma Lucik stopped feeling his hind legs, but after a successful operation on his spine he gradually learnt to walk, and then to run and jump. But the sensitivity to defecate on his own could not be regained and he constantly needs to be fed with special gastro food.
