Butai has delayed speech development and an autism spectrum disorder. By the age of 2, the boy had no speech, he walked in circles and did not pay attention to others.
The behavioral analyst conducted testing to establish the current level of the child's academic, communication, and social skills and barriers associated with undesirable behavior (VB-MAPP testing). Based on the results of the testing, the goals for building an individual training program for the development of Butai skills have been determined.
The specialist also assessed the boy's preferences and determined the hierarchy of motivational stimuli, thanks to which Butai began to cooperate and follow the instructions of the teacher. In sensory integration classes, Butai was able to improve his coordination of movements, became more dexterous and attentive. He gained a sense of balance and balance, as well as improved large and fine motor skills.
Thanks to the adaptive physical education classes, Butai's endurance increased and discipline improved. The boy's movements became clearer and more measured. Butai also learned how to pedal, jump over obstacles, do somersaults and squats, and throw a ball at a target.
