Magomed has an autism spectrum disorder. After the age of 2, the boy developed hyperactivity, lost his understanding of spoken language and lost eye contact. The boy was throwing objects, couldn't hold a spoon in his hand.
The behavioral analyst devoted most of the time of the intensive course to developing Magomed's speech skills. As a result, the boy learned how to compose simple picture stories from several sentences, describe objects and characterize them. Magomed is now confidently sorting cards into categories, he can put together a logical sequence of 4-6 cards.
The child also began to master board games and show great interest in them. Magomed especially liked such games as brodilka, lotto, balance. In addition, teachers engaged with Magomed in exercises to train memory and develop logical thinking.
Classes with an adaptive physical education coach and a sensory integration specialist helped Magomed significantly improve his physical skills, as well as large and small motor skills, a sense of balance, and even accuracy - the boy confidently stands on a balance beam and can throw a ball at a target. The child worked out on a treadmill, performed exercises with dumbbells and learned to ride a bike.
