Abdul-Kerim has a delayed speech development with an autism spectrum disorder. After a year, the boy had a developmental setback, he stopped speaking words, behavioral problems began, and his understanding of spoken speech disappeared.
During the intensive course, productive work was carried out with the boy, which showed his level of intelligence and involvement in the learning process. During the lessons, Abdul-Kerim actively trained the skills of distinguishing and naming stimuli, which contributed to the development of his attention and classification abilities.
Abdul-Kerim also performed onomatopoeia exercises to improve his speech skills. By the end of the course, the boy began to understand phrases and instructions addressed to him much better. There is progress in the development of sensory and physical skills – large and small motor skills have improved, the child has learned to identify objects by touch, mastered a treadmill and an exercise bike!
During his rehabilitation, Abdul-Kerim underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The use of hardware procedures had a beneficial effect on the boy's attention, reaction and speed of thinking.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to paying for the rehabilitation course for Abdul-Kerim!
