Amina is 7 years old. By the age of 2, the girl stopped contacting others and looking into their eyes, did not let them touch her, and had no understanding of speech. From that moment on, she is observed by a neurologist. After undergoing numerous examinations, the specialists diagnosed the consequences of perinatal CNS damage in the form of a disorder of psychological and speech development with emotional, volitional and behavioral disorders.
The ABA-therapy specialist worked on the establishment of management control and the introduction of a token reward system, as Amina often had episodes of undesirable and restless behavior. Now the girl knows how to sit quietly at the table and follow the instructions. Amina also learned to perform simple motor actions on her own, sort objects by signs and categories, and compare identical pictures. Work was also underway to improve self-service skills.
The sensory integration specialist worked on improving the functioning of the vestibular apparatus and developing the girl's coarse and fine motor skills. Now Amina has a long enough eye contact! The girl also began to respond to her name, and her understanding of spoken language improved.
The adaptive physical education instructor developed basic physical training skills with Amina. During classes, she learned to run, jump, throw a ball, crawl, step over barriers, and even ride a bike.
Thanks to your support, Amina has completed an intensive rehabilitation course! Thanks!
