Pregnant women who have been diagnosed with spina bifida on ultrasound come to Moscow with the support of the Foundation for intrauterine surgeries, examinations and childbirth. Often these are women from distant regions who are left alone in a big city with their misfortune. At such times it is important for us to provide women not only with qualified medical assistance, but also with psychological comfort. The Foundation pays for a woman's accommodation near the center, where she undergoes examinations, lives after intrauterine surgery, sometimes up to delivery. Such assistance allows in emergency cases to urgently hospitalize the future mother for delivery and provide medical care. We are opening a collection to pay for housing for women who come to Moscow to have a baby with the support of the most qualified doctors in the field of spin bifida treatment.
