Artyom and Yana found themselves on the streets after their father had kicked them out with no means of support. They didn't have warm clothing, essential items, and worst of all, they didn't have the support of their family. In tears, Yana pleaded for help, and was offered the opportunity to apply for assistance from a foundation to help save her son from an orphanage. This is how they came to be at the Mom's House.
Artyom and Yana's story is just one example of many. Currently, there are six mothers and eleven children at the House for Mothers. It is not merely a temporary shelter, but a chance for these children to remain close to their mothers and avoid being placed in boarding schools or orphanages. We are in the process of relocating and searching for a new residence, and therefore urgently require funds for rent as well as food and baby items.
Thanks to the assistance of the center, not only will we be able to assist Yana and her child, but also other needy mothers. Help us in saving our families and giving them hope for a brighter future.
