Magomedgadji has successfully completed the rehabilitation course!

Magomedgadji is 11 years old and has an autism spectrum disorder. The behavioral analyst worked with the boy to establish cooperation and leadership control to reduce the amount of unwanted behavior. Also, a new level of alternative communication system was introduced to the child using PECS cards, now it is much easier for Magomedgadji to express his desires and make requests to an adult. With a speech therapist, the boy was engaged in correcting the pronunciation of sounds, teaching the correct construction of speech, as well as the pronunciation of complex words consisting of several or more syllables. Magomedgadzhi has significant improvements in his coarse and fine motor skills - now he can hold a pencil on his own and trace letters and numbers with a dasha! There are also successes in reading, by the end of the course the child reads syllables and understands the words better. During the adaptive physical education classes, Magomedgadzhi became more disciplined, and began to respond to the instructions "Stop!" The boy also learned how to catch and throw a ball at a target, pass an obstacle course and ride a scooter. During the intensive course, the child underwent Tomatis therapy, which reduced his excessive activity and normalized his mental and physiological state.
