Denis is 8 years old, he is an orphan and lives in an orphanage. In addition to orthopedic issues, the boy has mental challenges. Denis loves to communicate, but he doesn't know how to talk yet. He finds it difficult to express his needs, feelings, and emotions, but it is very important for him to learn how to do this, as every child deserves to be heard and understood. Denis came to Moscow on the recommendation of doctors. Between treatment courses, he lives in the Social Center of the foundation - the House. Here, a teacher, a speech therapist, and a physical therapy specialist work with him. Their goal is to help Denis establish communication with the world. The speech therapist is working on initiating speech, while the teacher explains the surrounding world and helps him set up alternative communication using cards. 90% of orphaned children arriving at the House from regional orphanages have mental health issues and communication difficulties, but practice shows that activities and adult attention help children begin to communicate, significantly changing their lives for the better. In order for Denis and other children to continue their activities, develop, and learn new things during treatment, we need to raise funds to pay for the specialists' services.
