Muhammad is 9 years old. Since birth, he was a restless child, and at 4 months he was first diagnosed with hydrocephalus and motor disorders syndrome. The kid lagged behind his peers in development, was afraid of unfamiliar places and people, and had problems with behavior and speech. Muhammad has now been diagnosed with disorders of the development of impressive and expressive speech, disorders of the formation of cognitive, emotional-motivational, cognitive-communicative spheres, and food allergies. The ABA-therapy specialist continued his work with Muhammad on studying an alternative communication system, and the boy was already introduced to the 4th stage using PECS cards. The child learned to follow new instructions with and without an object, as well as several instructions at the same time, new stimuli appeared (chupa-chups, corn balls, a soft toy). In adaptive physical education classes, Muhammad developed his physical skills - now he has become more resilient and disciplined! The boy also learned to ride a bicycle and roller skates with the support of a coach. Thanks to the work of a sensory integration specialist, the child has a positive dynamic in the development of large and small motor skills, Muhammad has become calmer, keeps his balance better. Malchik also underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The use of this type of hardware procedures during an intensive rehabilitation course definitely gave an impetus to improving the cognitive, speech and mental functions of the child.
