Now the shelter needs 30 electronic medical thermometers for daily measurement of the animals' body temperature - this is the first and fastest diagnosis at admission and during treatment. A rise in body temperature is the first sign of inflammation, infection or dehydration. As well as professional stethoscopes of different models for accurate diagnosis of complex patients, allows you to hear the smallest changes in the heart and lungs. The stethoscope allows you to determine if there are problems with breathing, heart or circulation. This is important before and after surgery and when admitted to the hospital.
With the new thermometers and stethoscopes, we will be able to detect complications even earlier, start treatment sooner and save the lives of tail patients. In a shelter where hundreds of cats and dogs are treated every day, this is critical!
