Ruslan is 9 years old, he has delayed speech development, a disorder of receptive and expressive speech, general speech underdevelopment, autism spectrum disorder. At one year old, the boy had a developmental setback, he would not let anyone near him, stopped speaking and responding to his name, and eye contact disappeared.
Thanks to the well-coordinated work of specialists, Ruslan has achieved great success during his intensive rehabilitation course. The AVA specialist was actively working to improve the boy's communication and academic skills. Ruslan has learned to formulate a phrase on his own for requests and communication with peers. His gaming skills also improved, and the boy began to cooperate better with children and adults, and to follow the order when playing board games and story-based role-playing games.
The speech therapist-defectologist emphasized the formation of Ruslan's active speech and the expansion of his vocabulary. Now the boy freely uses nouns, verbs and adjectives in one sentence. Work was also carried out on the introduction of prepositions into the active speech of the child and on the correct change of gender, number, case in order to build a competent sentence.
The adaptive physical education coach taught Ruslan to work out on various simulators, keep his balance on a balance beam, jump, throw a ball at a target, overcome an obstacle course. The boy also learned to ride a scooter and a gyro scooter - now he succeeds without much effort!
Thanks for Ruslan's help! Thanks to your support, the boy has completed a rehabilitation course!
