Milana really likes dancing and dreams of learning to dance. But due to her health, the girl cannot yet realize her dream.
Milana was born very small, prematurely, her weight was less than one kilogram. To preserve her life and further growth, she was placed in an incubator for newborns. Three months after birth, the baby was discharged, and she was able to return home, where a large and loving family was waiting for her.
By six months, the girl's mother began to notice that the baby was constantly holding a clenched fist. Examinations by specialists began, as a result, it was found that the girl had increased muscle tone, and it affected not only her arm, but also her right leg. This prevented her from leaning on her full foot, and therefore from walking. At two years old, Milana was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Recently, the girl underwent SDR (selective dorsal rhizotomy) surgery, which is aimed at reducing leg spasticity and promoting independent walking. Milana now needs post-operative rehabilitation, which will help her recover, confidently stand on her full foot and prevent shortening of the ligaments.
Together we can help little Milana. Everything is just beginning in her life, and let her steps become the most confident and independent, turning into beautiful dances.
