Abubakar is 5 years old, he has delayed speech development and an autism spectrum disorder. After two years, the parents noticed that the boy began to spin in one place, did not react to his name and did not understand the addressed speech.
A behavioral analyst was working on forming requests using alternative PECS communication, and tokens were introduced. Also, the child began to master the skill of listener behavior, the boy sits quietly at the table, listens to the teacher and tries to complete tasks. He gained perseverance, concentration on the task, and improved his understanding of spoken language.
Experts in sensory integration and adaptive physical culture have worked to eliminate Abubakar's movement coordination disorders, as well as to improve his motor skills, body sensation in space, and balance. The boy has mastered various simulators, jumping over barriers and throwing a ball, perfectly passes the obstacle course, performs tasks with a rope and a hoop, keeps his balance on a balance beam.
Also, as part of the rehabilitation course, the child underwent bioacoustic brain correction and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which reduced his excessive activity, normalized his psychophysiological state, and improved his communication skills.
