Rayhan is 6 years old. By the age of 2, the parents noticed that the girl did not respond to the name and did not look into the eyes. After contacting a neurologist, the girl was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and an organic lesion of the central nervous system.
As part of the rehabilitation course, Rayhan worked hard with specialists in AVA therapy, sensory integration, adaptive physical education, as well as with a speech therapist. In addition, the girl underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The use of this hardware procedure during rehabilitation had a fruitful effect on both the mental activity of the girl and her physical development.
Rayhan's understanding of converted speech has improved significantly, and she has gained an understanding of complex phrases and instructions. The girl learned to "sit beautifully" during class, wait for her turn in social games (for example, lotto or dominoes). Work also continued on establishing cooperation and leadership control, and Rayhan began to show interest in the tasks and exercises she performed.
Thanks to sensory integration classes, the girl has a positive dynamic in the development of large and small motor skills. During the lessons, the teacher used special objects of different shapes and sizes to improve Rayhan's tactile perception (for example, cones, toys, cereals). After studying with an adaptive sports coach, the girl became much more resilient and disciplined, learned how to work out on a treadmill, pedal and even pass an obstacle course!
