Dina is the long-awaited second child in her family. From the moment she was born, her parents sensed something was wrong. Within the first few months, it became clear that her development was different from that of her older sister. Soon came the diagnosis: cerebral palsy.
Since then, Dina’s family has been doing everything they can to support her. And it’s paying off — the progress is slow, but meaningful. Dina can now roll over, sit with support, and is learning to crawl.
Physically, things are harder for her than for other kids, but in every other way, she’s just like her peers. She’s smart, observant, and incredibly social. She knows numbers, colors, letters, answers questions, and loves games, stories, and swings. She babbles constantly and is always engaged with the world around her.
Right now, Dina cannot walk and is fully dependent on adults. But she longs to be independent: to go outside, play with friends, and move around on her own. To make this possible, Dina needs an active wheelchair.
An active wheelchair is her way to move, explore, and truly live — not just wait for help.
